Investing in tomorrow’s green Community leaders

JWHI supports the next generation of environmental leaders by driving change in the environmental sector through tailored small grants. We unlock environmental potential for education, training, and organizational capacity building.

What we do

The Joke Waller-Hunter (JWH) Initiative creates opportunities for young people in the environmental sector in developing countries to unfold their full potential. By providing small grants to individuals to expand their knowledge, experience and training, the Initiative aims to strengthen environmental Civil Society Organisations capacity and efficiency.

How to get involved

Unleash your potential by applying for a JWH Initiative grant. We support individuals to pursue personal development through diverse activities such as courses, internships, conferences, and more, without being tied to organizational projects.
