Tell us about yourself:
My name is Claire Lokeris Pedo working with Girls for Climate Action as Green Master Program Coordinator, a program that focuses on climate education and awareness in schools. I also support on the Climate Leadership Program where we identify and train young women and girls in leadership and advocacy to empower them to become advocates for climate justice and also be able to take up leadership roles in their communities and institutions to influence eco-friendly policies.I am driven by the fact that Climate Action is collective and thus it takes every small step to contribute to climate action today. Additionally, being a woman and understanding that at the end of the day I am more vulnerable to the impacts of Climate Change, with my knowledge and expertise I am inspired to empower other women and girls to fight for Climate Justice.
