Isingizwe Sandra

Rwanda

Tell us about yourself: My name is Isingizwe Sandra, a young Rwandan female holding a Bachelor’s degree in Water and Environmental Engineering since 2018. I began my professional work in the environment protection and climate change sector when I started working in a youth-led nonprofit organization The Green Protector. Where I work in giving my contribution in climate change and environment protection education and raising awareness by involving the community in the issues through sharing and learning from each other, finding solutions adaptable to our lifestyles in respect of the climate change crisis, not forgetting children giving them the right simple fundamental keys to protect our common home. I am motivated by wanting to see a better world than today, and also wanting to show that young people are capable and can also contribute in man ways to make the change we all are striving for.
