Patrick Edema
Uganda
Patrick Edema, originating from Uganda, is an environmental and climate change activist dedicated to opposing fossil fuel projects in his country. He advocates for environmental preservation and protection of land rights, particularly for vulnerable communities such as women, youth, and the elderly. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Conservation and Natural Resources Management at Kyambogo University, Uganda, Patrick aims to leverage the JWH grant to enhance his expertise. His dream is to establish a youth-led organization advocating for environmental conservation and climate mitigation in Uganda and the broader East African region.
