Shreya Adhikari

I am Shreya Adhikari from Nepal. I have been leading a youth network in my country, Global Youth Biodiversity Network Nepal; through which, I bring young people together to achieve various ends of climate justice and biodiversity protection and sustainable use of natural resources . My efforts focus on engaging young people in every step of the climate and biodiversity movement starting from influencing policy decisions to implementing ground-level actions. I work to bridge the gap between youth, policymakers, and stakeholders and so that youth can play an integral role in driving sustainable future. With the support of the JWH grant, I plan to further my education in Environmental Sciences and learn about sustainable natural resource management in today’s context of changing climatic conditions. This will allow me to make practical contributions to address climate justice and biodiversity protection. I aim to implement solutions and drive initiatives that are inclusive and bring harmony between the environment and our society.
